This summer was off to an orange start for many brides. Orange is the new pink. Brides are doing it simple or elegant. To match their orange theme, some brides are even taken it as far as wearing an orange wedding dress. This is quite a shock from the traditional white and pure embellished wedding dress. It is clear that brides of 2009 are not your traditional brides. They want to make a statement down the runway. According to the Glamorous Life, orange symbolizes flamboyance and brings about energy. Brides who choose to wear an orange wedding dress are energetic and full of life. They do not care what others say about them or think for that matter.

Orange can be seen everywhere from beautiful centerpieces, large and in charge wedding cakes, orange bouquets, balloons, invitations, to even orange colored wines and drinks. Best of all, many brides are bolder than ever with beautiful orange orchids arranged at every table. If you want an orange theme and don't want to hire a wedding planner or spend the big bucks go to YouTube or Flickr to see tutorials and images on how to glamour your wedding with an orange theme. There are also pictures of orange wedding dresses. If you want to make a bold statement and you are the type of person who likes to stand out and be noticed, then completing your orange theme with an orange wedding dress will spark conversation. Don't get me wrong there are a number of orange wedding dresses that can come across as elegant and sophisticated. It all depends on the cut. In my opinion any dress with a long train and low back cut is classy. If you are true to your theme, then serving salmon on a bed of carrots or pineapple orange chicken will seal the deal with your guests. To top it off, you can end the event with orange sorbet and lemon zest.
